Universal flasher units are designed to control the direction indication function excluding detection of lamp failures. Moreover, they are used for warning or signalling functions on the vehicle or in installations in the voltage range of up to 30 V, such as on tail lifts, in buses, on emergency or command vehicles or construction vehicles or machines, viz. in all the places where an additional flashing signal calls for increased alertness or attentiveness.
